Thought you might be interested in one isolation project I can tick ✔️ off my list.
My verge was a mess of weeds and kikuyu rutted by the regular passage of the postie delivering the mail.
I've got rid of this mess for which I relied on good neighbours to mow and put in a reinforced gravel path and then contoured the whole space.
Planting is always the part that gives so much pleasure and satisfaction. Although it looks sparse I have planted dozens of ground hugging native plants, most can be growing in the Adelaide Hills, that will attract local insects, particularly butterflies.
There are also a few different ground covering herbs including 3 varieties of thyme and also a Greek Oregano.
In a week or so I will also plant tulips that are currently chilling in the crisper.
Hopefully this will the first of many garden verges in my suburb.

Fantastic ....nothing like having a project to keep one happy in isolation...also a good way to meet your neighbours at a safe distance of course!!!🌻
Looks like a great project. Well done!
